ecopower ventilators are the world's first true hybrid ventilators that will work in all conditions, even when there is no wind, to ensure a constant supply of fresh air.

It combines natural ventilation with a  computer controlled, high efficiency electric motor in a single unit to ensure consistent air quality and guaranteed peak performance when you need it.

What makes the ecopower revolutionary is its patented design.  The ecopower allows the wind turbine itself to be used as a centrifugal impeller, no separate fan is required when running in powered mode.

The motor is installed in a direct drive configuration to the turbine, ensuring minimum flow obstruction for maximum air movement.  It also results in lower maintenance costs.

The motor can be activated on by a simple manual switch or operation can be controlled by any digital measure, such as temperature, humidity, gas concentration level etc.

Edmonds ecopower® has been developed to provide the highest levels of performance. When compared with similar sized axial roof fans, ecopower® has demonstrated extraordinary energy efficiency under power load, requiring up to 76% less power to maintain the same extraction rate. The ecopower® also operates at a new level of quietness running at levels up to 14.5dB(A) lower than traditional mechanical axial fans. 

The example below demonstrates the running cost savings and CO2 emission reductions available in a typical 10 unit installation compared to mechanical axial vents. In this example energy and greenhouse gas reductions of 75% are achieved, this equates to a $1,763 annual energy saving and an annual greenhouse gas emissions reduction of 12.3 tonnes based on the use of coal fired electricity. The ecopower® not only uses less power in powered mode, but can also run for a shorter period due to the Availability of continuous ventilation in natural mode. This allows for similar air change rates over a 24 hour period compared to the mechanical unit, which must run for a longer period.

All Edmonds products are “Special Order” to customers specifications and require payment in advance.  Once the order is placed, order cannot be canceled or returned and is non-refundable.  If order is damaged during shipping, customer must contact Edmonds US within 24 hrs. so a damage claim can be filed and a replacement product produced and sent to customer.

    Warehouse ventilation | New Hybrid Ventilation

    We had a heat and humidity issue in our Warehouse and wanted energy efficient ventilation. We reviewed Greenheck, Loren Cook and the Edmonds eco POWER ventilators. We choose the eco Powers and we are impressed and they meet our requirements. 5 Stars

    At the multiple Companies that I have worked for over the years. Traditional axial fans were used. There used a lot of energy and needed constant maintenance. When I was first introduced to the Edmonds ecoPOWER turbines I was skeptical but after a demonstration we decided to install on our warehouse. The turbines run flawlessly and during an energy audit they lowered energy costs by over 90%. The Future of ventilation is here Today.. Edmonds ecoPOWERS.

    On base the Maintenance Warehouse had non-functioning rooftop exhaust ventilators. Due to energy mandates energy efficient ventilators were reviewed and the Edmonds ecoPOWERS 900's were selected.

    We had an heat issue in one of our Los Angeles warehouses. We reviewed multiple solutions and selected Three Edmonds ecoPOWER Hybrid 900's rooftop ventilators with dampers. They really made a notable difference in cooling the warehouse and employee comfort. During the winter we can close the dampers to keep heat in. Very pleased and highly recommend.

    Best Commercial Roof Top Ventilator

    It was our goal to reach Silver LEED certification for our Nano Engineeering lab. We obtained Gold LEED by utilizing the Edmonds Hybrid ecoPOWER 900's. Our findings found that the Edmonds Hybrid is the most energy efficient commercial roof top ventilator. The ecoPOWER line is a true hybrid using wind and heat up-draft to spin the turbine and a DC German motor that also operates the turbine. True Energy Efficiency - reduced energy costs by up to 90%.
