QA-Deluxe 6500 is for 2-story homes up to 4400 sqft & single story homes up to 3000 sqft and requires about 5.5 sqft of net free attic ventilation. It delivers a powerful 4478 CFM (HVI-916 certified airflow rating).
It comes with an option of an On/Off remote control with timer, two-speed (Hi/Low) remote with timer & temp control or two speed HI/LOW wall switch and digital timer. (See Control Options Toward Bottom of Page)

Also included is our acoustical ducting for a quieter operation. R-5 insulated gravity damper. Metal support brackets keeps the damper off drywall. Heavy duty state of the art aluminum fan housing. Fan motor brackets with rubber bushings reduces noise and vibration noise.

Replace old belt Drive Fan | Now Happy
I had an old belt drive fan with louvers and it was dirty, noisy and shook my ceiling. I call Mike at Factory Fans Direct and he suggested the I remove that fan and install a QA Deluxe 6500 with two speed remote. What a difference. Thank you Mike.

Best Investment
By far the best investment I have made for energy efficiency. It is a great way to cool down your home using the cool outside air in the evenings and early mornings. I just wish I had it installed it sooner.

Great fan
Our old home had the pulley-style fan, and while it was loud, it moved a ton of air. In our new home, we went with this QA 6500. It moves air fairly well, and is so quiet you can barely tell it is on unless you are in the room it is above. Installation was a bit of a hot and sweaty chore, but it is mostly straightforward. I wish the install would have included a string wire that indicates exactly how long the ducting can be. I had to move the fan head because the ducting was not quite long enough. Otherwise, it is been a joy.

QA Deluxe 6500 Excellent Product
We had always heard about the great ability of a whole house fan to cool down the house. I am so glad that my contractor referred me to Mike at Factory Fans Direct. Mike provided valuable insight in selecting the appropriate sized fan for our home and ordering was super easy. I am pretty sure that I could have installed it myself after reviewing the instructions but we hired my contractor to install it anyways for piece of mind. We used the fan last night for the first time and our house inside temperature was brought down to more comfortable level and stayed that way all night without turning on the AC. Great service and great product. BTW we purchased the QA Deluxe 6500 with the 2 speed wall mounted plug and play controller
