Industrial grade gravity fed back draft damper requires no power and is standard with all CentricAir & QA Deluxe whole house fans. The R5 insulated gravity damper is designed keep attic air from entering the living space when the whole house fan is not in use.

    Seals very well and no blow back

    I had other whole house fans and they all had blow back, air coming back into the house. The R 5 Poly Foam seals very well and no blow back. 5 Stars.

    Best Standard Damper in the Industry

    The new R-5 Poly foam damper is the best standard damper that I have seen. Most other Companies charge extra for a damper of this quality.

    I had other whole house fans and all of them had dampers that had blowback. The Centric Air Damper is 1 inch poly foam and it seals really well. No-Blowback.

    We ordered the Centric Air 3.4 with the new R-5 back draft damper. Well engineered and operates perfectly.
