CentricAir 3.4 whole house fan delivers a powerful 3242 CFM (HVI-916) and requires about 4.0 sq. ft. of net free attic ventilation. It uses 382 WATTS of power and costs about $0.08 per hour to operate. It’s designed for two story homes up to 3400 sq. ft. and single story homes up to 2500 sq. ft.

CentricAir whole house fans use a German engineered fan that is 30% more powerful and uses 1/3 less energy than other industry fans. These energy efficient fans are rated for 40,000 hours of operation and come with a 15-year warranty.

Provided with the system is a R-5 Energy Star 1" Poly Foam industrial gravity backdraft damper, acoustical ductwork, custom high airflow register, on/off remote control or wall switch & timer and all necessary hardware. Designed for cold climates, the Cold Climate Damper (available with 2.7, 3.4, & 4.0 models only) is powered by a heavy-duty actuator that is tested to 60,000 cycles. The damper door is insulated to R-10, (upgradable to R-50), to help ensure an air tight seal whenever your whole house fan is not in use. Two Speed Wireless Remote Control with Timer

The optional two speed remote control with timer is our most versatile control and features an LED display and 5 Timer Functions 1, 2, 4, 8 hours or ON. On high speed the system operates at a powerful 3242 CFM. Set to low speed the system provides a comfortable flow of air while maintaining a whisper quiet noise level.

Heavy-duty R-5 Energy Star 1" Poly Foam Maintenance Free Damper

A fundamental problem with traditional whole house fans was air leakage between the attic and living spaces. This could result in dirty attic air entering your home. The 3.4 takes care of this problem with an industrial-quality damper that is thermally insulated and maintenance free. Silicone seals are provided to ensure sealing longevity; they also provide phenomenal resistance to weathering and changes in temperature. Silicone seals have an approximate service life of 30 years and remain flexible down to -40 degrees F/C.

Low Profile - High Air Flow Register

The Centric Air 3.4 comes with a high air flow register that reduces air movement noise through the register. These high-performance grills look great too, so your system looks as inconspicuous as it sounds.

    Replaced old fan with Centric Air 3.4

    We finally replaced our old noisy all house fan with a Centric Air 3.4 fan. We went with the Centric Air fan as the housing and blades are molded plastic so they do get bent like the other brands plus they have a better German motor and it is really quiet. The big selling point is the remote control they sell with their fans, wow! it makes all the difference. You can set what temperature you want the house to be and it will automatically shut off the fan once it gets to that temperature. Excellent product and service.

    I reviewed all the whole house fans on the market: Quiet Cool, Air Scape, Tamarack, etc.. and nothing compares to the Centric Air with its German motor and 5 blade computer balanced system. It is quiet, energy efficient and the highest of quality. I was really impressed by Mike Miller knowledge at Factory Fans Direct. He is a whole house fan expert.

    Package installed easily, however, with vertical installation I found it was best to frame around duct for slickest install. System is very quiet and we look forward to utilizing it daily when cooler mornings return in September

    I am an Engineer and review and evaluate products. I reviewed all of the data sheets on all of the whole house fans on the market and went to home shows and to the manufactures to view their WHFs and I determined that Centic Air is the best constructed and most reliable WHF with its German Engineering motor with 5 blade computer balanced system and the new 1 inch poly foam Energy star damper. 5-Stars..
